MOBB RBA – 1st Look (Video)

I couldn’t help it. I bought the MOBB RBA and here’s my Monarchy Vapes MOBB 1st Look. I came to the Billet Box world from the world of Hussar and Monarchy vapes. I have almost every Hussar RTA and RDA, but I only have one Monarchy RDA right now. It’s the Monarch F RDA and it’s my favorite still, well tied for 1st with my NARea RDA.

Anyway, since I came into the BB world, I have made comments to Monarch Andrzej that Jacek needed to make an RBA. After I decided to stop buying accessories, he did… I couldn’t help getting one, so I did. I scored 1 of the 100 gold MOBBs made. I really didn’t need a gold one, but it was the 1st one that was made available to me, so I grabbed it. Unfortunately, I got the Delro gold button and tip set (RRP of $115.24 USD) in the package and I will never use them. I might try to offload them to a Delro owner.

Well, it arrived today and I didn’t hesitate. I threw together a video, one I am not happy with, but I got a build in and I am enjoying the hell out of it so far. I have gone through at least 3 boros and the flavor is still spot on. The wicking has held up to my chain vaping as well. I am not ready to say it’s better or worse than any other RBA yet, but it’s as good as the Bridg’d or the Exocet V2. Seriously.

It’s not my best work, but I already spent the time to put it together, so here you go… I will try to get around to doing a better video later, focusing on building.

Stay tuned for more info… If you want to purchase a MOBB RBA, they are only available 2nd hand or via lists in the Monarchy Facebook group. There was one today for the MOBB Mini that sold out in 30 minutes.

Just watching for the first time, haven’t gotten through the whole video… few thoughts.
    1) the base ring over the threads unscrews – gives you a lot more threads to work with. Only goes on in one direction properly, has an o-ring seal.
    2) I fit a 3.5 in there, but it was a very tight fit, you have to align just right.
    3) On any side post like this, I like to pull the leg out an extra mm, then trim, then use the wrapping post to pull it back under the screw. The screw needs to remain tight enough to hold the coil in place. Works best with an exotic – if its a simple round wire design i wrap the wire around the screw back into the inside and trim it into the inside.

      1. Thanks. That will help alot. 🙂 I didn’t do much research before getting it and there.
      2. I got the 3mm in there just fine, but couldn’t get it lined up on video though so I went with a 2.5mm.
      3. I’ll give that a try.
