A New Mission Switch from Mission XV Coming Soon!
I haven’t even had a chance to write an article with my 1st Impression of the original Mission Switch and a New Mission Switch was teased by Michael Pham earlier today. I just received my aluminum body, black anodized Mission Switch with panels the other day and they installed with ease. I was already looking forward to sending the black switch off to get anodized to the same color as my 2016 RNB, but it looks like I might put that on hold.
Michael posted another message the other day telling us that a new vendor would be making different color buttons for the Mission Switch soon. Never Normal? Could this all be related to this release that he said would be revealed in a few days? I don’t know about the vendor, but it is quite possibly related since some of the replies to questions in the thread, including my own question, indicate compatibility with the current Mission Switch.
You can get acrylic colored buttons soon! I’ll reveal the modder soon when they are ready! X1 and let us know what colors you’d prefer!

What is really cool about this new Mission Switch is that it appears that it will be sold as a complete inners set for those that want all the matchy matchy they can get! Hopefully, you can buy them individually too. I am sure many will want to get a black control plate to match their original Mission Switch. The only issue with that is that it won’t be the same material, that has already been confirmed but he didn’t reveal what the actual material is. It won’t be acrylic though, he says that acrylic won’t be strong enough.
If you read the comments, there are many clues that can be picked up like one that asked about the operation and he was referred to the current Mission Switch for the operation, which leads me to believe that it will pretty much work the same, just a different material.
Like I said, Michael said there will be more information in a couple days and that these will be available in a few weeks. Good Luck getting your hands on these. People are still scrambling to get their hands on the original.
I will update this post when we get more info!
