The original Mission Switch is made from black anodized aluminum and is a drop-in replacement for the factory switch system from Billet Box Vapors. It comes with a black anodized aluminum button but does not come with a matching control plate. This black anodized aluminum version of the Mission Switch has an RRP of $60, but if you get it with the black G10 panel set, it was $185.

There was also a limited amount (20 or 17) of special edition panels with a Mission XV laser-etched moon scene (above). The owners of these panels are considered to be Mission Badge Holders if you see that referenced anywhere unfortunately if the person that owned this set of panels sells them, the original owner loses the privileges Mission XV gave to those badge holders and the new owner doesn’t get the privileges either.

The newer versions of the Mission Switch are not made of aluminum, they are being made from other materials. I was told that the Milky Way and Mood Dust sets were made from Delrin. The Ice Planet set was made from PCTG.

The newest versions of the Mission Switch announced on 7/8/2020, are now made from plated, nitrite, high polish Stainless steel. They are coming in Black (Obsidian), Gold, and Platinum.

What’s the RRP of a Mission Switch?

To install the Switch system, you simply remove the 4 long screws holding the factory button inner panel and place it in the same spot and replace the same screws. For the control plate, remove the 3 screws and carefully remove the original control plate and replace it with the Mission control plate.
