What is the RRP of a Mission Switch?

What is the RRP of a Mission Switch or a Mission ROKR Switch? I see this question pop up in groups often so I decided to share the answer here. Mainly the question pops up when people are trying to buy and sell the switches. Most people are selling the sets for more than RRP, but knowing where to start is the 1st step on either end of the deal.

About the Mission Switch

The Mission Switch is a replacement switch system from Mission XV and comes in several versions. The original black Mission Switch is made from black anodized aluminum and sold originally for $60 (switch only) and $185 for the switch that included a set of G10 Mission panels. RRP of a Mission Switch

The original Mission Switch is made from black anodized aluminum and is a drop-in replacement for the factory switch system from Billet Box Vapors. It comes with a black anodized aluminum button but does not come with a matching control plate. This black anodized aluminum version of the Mission Switch has an RRP of $60, but if you get it with the black G10 panel set, it was $185.

RRP of a Mission Switch

There was also a limited amount (20) of special edition panels with a Mission XV laser-etched moon scene (above). The owners of these panels are considered to be Mission Badge Holders if you see that referenced anywhere. These badge sets had an RRP of $260, but you won’t find anyone selling anywhere near that, if at all. They were obtained in waffles with 10 spots at $26 and the lucky owners of these sets get 1st crack at future Mission XV limited release products.

Milky Way Set (White)

The Milky Way and Moon Dust sets were released at the same time. There were 210 Milky Way versions made. These come with the switch and the button plate as a set for an RRP of $134.99. Ice Planet Set (Clear)

The Ice Planet Set was released in June 2020 and from what I understand, there were only 120 sets produced. Just like the Moon Dust and Milky Way sets, these came with a button plate in addition to the switch. Some of these were sold in the Mission XV group, but some were sold in special group buys in various Billet Box related Facebook groups. The RRP for this set was also $134.99. Made from PCTG Frosted Clear material.

There have also been some blem versions, special versions the badge holders got, etc. I have no idea what they cost, how they were obtained, or what they’d be worth on the used market. Talk with Mission people to find out more. I am not going to be able to help with those.

This post is always a work in progress.

  1. Hey Chris! Excellent article. I came on here to find out the proper names of a couple of switches I’m moving on. I have a white topo rokr switch and that could certainly be added to the list! Great job. Appreciate your efforts 😊👊
