The Fashion Nugget Has Arrived!
My quest for all 11 colors of the 2020 Billet Box line up has hit the next step, my Fashion Nugget has arrived! I really don’t think I will be able to afford getting 5 more, but all I need to finish that quest is a TMNBB, BX, Dober, Unicorn Poo, and an RPG. Those colors aren’t really in my wheelhouse, so there is no rush.
Here is my collection so far…
These aren’t the final forms for most of the models. The Rat and the Clear are pretty much complete. The Rat looks awesome with the Mission Switch and the SSPP white panels!
The clear normally has the dragon panels that are on the Kurbis, but I was testing out the red Rainy Panels on it.
The Kurbis is waiting on custom made stabwood panels with Harley Davidson engravings. I am pleased to say that they are almost done too. The picture to the right is what they look like right now, before polishing. When they are done, they will have oranges and black colors showing through.
The Fawkes is pretty much done, but I am thinking about putting some black inners on the button side to contrast the button a little.
The RNB is waiting on white screws and a white Boro, both on the way, and it will be complete.
The Nugget is waiting on Ultem inners and Ultem Mag set from Kontrl.
What is the difference between a Fashion Nugget and a Nug-Bald?
I found this out last weekend when I asked BBV on their announcement post. 2 weeks ago, they offered a Nug-Bald and last week, a Fashion Nugget. Both of them come with a MOP button, both are Nuggets. So what’s the difference? The color of the MOP button! Thanks, Billet Box Vapor for clearing that up! Maybe it’s an optical illusion, maybe the MOP is actually more yellow. I can’t tell and I am not removing them both to confirm.
