Update on Personal Collection, Slimming Down

If you read the last Personal Collection update, I mentioned a deal I got on a pair of Billet Boxes along with some other mods. These arrived and I kept the 2018 RPG and sold the 2017 Rat to someone that was looking for their 1st authentic Billet.

That set me up with this lineup. Please forgive some of the boxes that are not in their final form. Are any of them ever really done?

I moved my Dragon panels and the Bridg’d over to the 2018 RPG and put the Earn panels I wrote about the other day on the 2020 Clear. I also decided that I would use the Skeleton panels on my 2020 Kurbis, for now.

Thursday, I received some bad news about my Harley Davidson, my primary mode of transportation. Some of the bearings were torn up in my transmission and this is going to require a fairly expensive rebuild. I probably don’t “need” to sell anything, but I decided anyhow. I have sold my 2020 RNB and getting ready to sell my 2020 Fashion Nugget. Mainly to help pay for the repairs so I can have some cash available when the Bridg’d 1.2 is released.

Personal Collection

I really don’t need this many Billet Box models anyhow, especially with today’s vapemail:

  • Battery Wraps and insulators
  • 26650 Battery for Vapedroid
  • 6 new batteries
  • 2 Mission Tip sets.
  • 3 Never Normal Mission nubs
  • Black Ultem Noct
  • Delro 60e (back from repair)
  • Some extra Delro Panels (Thanks JG)

Here’s the tricky part. I have no idea what Billet Box Vapor’s stance is on the Delro or Noct. I have heard that they don’t have a problem with Delro at all, but I can’t imagine that they are OK with the Noct. While the Noct isn’t a 1:1 clone of the Billet Box, nor does it claim to be, it’s very similar. Either way, I now own one and I will share my thoughts.

The Black Ultem Noct I received is a version that was sold by Friendly Flipper last year. It came with Friendly Flipper panels and a blue Titanium tip and button. While it was en route, I learned more about the device and started to think that I was not going to like it. When it arrived, I was stunned at how light it is. I took the Friendly Flipper accessories off and made it my own with some red/black Kirinite panels from ModThinx and a Mission Tip with a black nub. I really like it now.

Even though I am getting rid of some accessories and a couple of Billet Boxes, I am still committed to trying to make this website a great resource for all Billet Box owners, especially new owners or potential owners.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
