The RBA Battle is About to Heat Up!
It was mentioned in an article by Vapouround Magazine recently that the recent boost in popularity of the Billet Box could possibly be as a result of so many great RBAs popping up in the last six months.
In a matter of months, Odis Designs, Mission.XV, Haku Engineering, WICK’D and Ground Kloud Innovations all announced their new Billet Box compatible RBAs. Then we saw new Boro tank compatible mods announced from Sunbox, BMM and Friendly Flipper. Recently, we’ve even seen bridge compatible 510 tanks from the likes of Limelight Mechanics.
They were right about one thing for sure, there are some really awesome RBA out now, the Bridg’d, Xeta, and VapeSnail top that list in my opinion. Many of the great RBAs available for Boro tanks in the Billet Box and other mods are produced by modders that have made their name putting out great RDAs and RTAs, simply put, they know how to do it already.
The reselling market on a few of these RBAs are about to reach a boiling point with used VapeSnails selling for over $200 and Bridg’d RBAs selling at almost $300, both well over RRP. When they are really good and Covid 19 halting production of more units, these things happen. Haku Xetas are easier to get your hands on still, but even they are drying up lately.
There’s another wave of RBAs coming!
In the last few weeks, there has been good news from Atimizoo, Odis Design, and Wick’d regarding more availability.
- Atimizoo has announced that more VapeSnails should become available this month. We’re almost 20 days in and no word yet, but some retailer selling their products are showing signs that they are coming soon.
- Wick’d is supposed to release version 1.2 of the Bridg’d soon as well.
- Odis Design says that more Boxxer v2 units are coming soon.
Where it is going to get interesting is that Hellfire has announced that the Exocet 2 is being worked on now. I wasn’t around for the Exocet, but it was a game changer when it launched a few years ago.
Another company, Athea Mods out of France that seems to specialize in genesis atomizers using mesh, posted an interesting photo recently without providing any detail. It appears to be a geni inside of a Boro!
These modders are putting out great RBAs and even though they are beloved by Billet Box owners, we must not forget that other Boro tank devices can use these as well and they are all getting more popular as time goes on and more an more of them are showing up!
