Billet Box Product Database Introduction
I just wanted to take a few minutes to introduce the features of our Billet Box product database. This is still a work in progress but the purpose of the database is to present products available for the Billet Box with as much information as possible. There are currently 3 categories, Billet Box Models, Billet Box Accessories, and 3rd Party Billet Box accessories.
Billet Box Models
This section is fairly simple, but for those that want to see what a Kurbis looks like if there are none currently on Billet Box Vapor’s website, they can look here and see the outside and inside of a Kurbis as well as all the button combinations that are available. I am in the process of collecting all the button variations. We have most examples for most of the colors, but we are missing several RPG photos. Each week, I check the drop and look for examples that we haven’t had a chance to add. This should be complete soon!
Each listing has a little information about the colors, some entries have some quotes from BBV or a little history. The BX listing explains the difference between the different BX models. For instance, the Nugget listing explains something I didn’t know until yesterday, the difference between a Nug-Bald and a Fashion Nugget.
In addition to color specific information, we have some general Billet Box info that is not specific to a particular color. All the info is basically about the Rev 4B models. We haven’t added much info on legacy models.
Billet Box Accessories
This section is pretty boring. Don’t bother. It’s just a listing of accessories offered by BBV. I am not saying that Billet Box Vapor’s accessories are boring, but there just aren’t that many ATM. #BringBackKirinite
3rd Party Billet Box Accessories
This 3rd Party Accessories section is also a work in progress, but it’s the section we plan to list accessories available, past and present, for your Billet Box. Each listing provides photos, general information, and a tab that has embedded review videos, if available. Right now, all the videos are from great reviewers like Mark Todd and Vapor Trail, but the plan is to include our own videos… in time. We also have plans to add a tab for our own write-ups, separated by members of our team.
There is still a lot to do with this section. If you want to see a product listed, let us know. I am unsure if we are going ever add panels and inner sets to the database. Could you imagine if we listed ever single piece of acrylic made by Mums, Friendly Flipper, Kontrl, etc? That would be crazy. For now, I have chosen to add major RBAs and switches, and other general accessories.
