My First Drop, I Scored a Billet Box f-u

Yep! I scored a Billet Box clear!

As you might already know, I am brand new to the Billet Box community, but in my quick research and hours and hours of reading, I learned that the “drops” occur at 10:30 am MTN on the Billet Box Vapor website. I have also learned that many people leave that website disappointed that they were not able to score a Billet Box from the drop. Even though I bought 2 used Billet Boxes a couple of days ago, I want a clear and a red (fawkes) so I did what they said. I headed to Billet Box Vapor’s Facebook page and low and behold, they announced the colors for the upcoming drop.

I am not 100% sure of what a normal drop day looks like with the number of devices available, but this announcement clearly states that there were be less than normal due to the Coronavirus.

I didn’t expect to get one after reading all the stories of people trying and trying, but I decided to give it a try. I kept hitting F5 on the color I wanted and when I saw the button, I added it and checked out. I got one! The funny thing is that the orange one still showed available after I checked out.

The main reason I wanted this color is because I want to purchase these Damascus steel panels…

I might not grab those panels now because of another score later that day. I got approved for a group where there were some quick strikes for panels and I was able to score these panels and I already have the Mission switch!

Since I am considering trading the Rat Black 2017 to a collector, I don’t need these for that one, instead I will probably use them on the clear 2020.
