Billet Box History – Throwback Thursday
There have been a few special Billet Boxes released over the years and I have already talked about most of them. We’ve gone over the Dead Flipper, Brass Flipper, and the Year of the Dog boxes, but I don’t think the Barbara Walters 20/20 boxes are old enough to be considered “Throwback Thursday” material yet. For this week’s Throwback Thursday, I am going to be a tad bit lazy and just refer you to the Billet Box History Timeline here on Billet Box Info.
When I decided to put this site online, I was new to the Billet Box world. I didn’t feel real comfortable sharing without knowing the progression of Billet Box over the years. I knew a little from flirting with the idea of getting one on and off for the last 5-6 years. What really kept me from getting one was the availability of bridges that would satisfy my vape style. We are finally where I needed it to be and I am all in now. Well, over the last couple of months, I have scoured through the archives for Billet Box Vapor, BBV’s own blog, and ECF for a history lesson.
I turned all that reading and learning into a timeline that you can check out here.

The good news about the Billet Box is that it hasn’t changed much over the last few years. The DNA 60 chip is awesome and there’s really no reason to update that. There are new mods still being released with the DNA 60. The awesome thing about the lack of changes is that most of the accessories you bought last year or even 3-4 years ago should still work on a Billet Box you buy today. The design hasn’t changed since 2016.
If you have any ideas for future Throw Back Thursday posts, let me know! I hope you check out the timeline and enjoy a little Billet Box History today!
